03rd March 2024 – WORLD HEARING DAY CELEBRATION

In commemoration of World Hearing Day, YMCA  Public Health & Social Service Committee, in collaboration with the Association of Otolaryngologists of India (AOI) Trivandrum and the Society of Trivandrum ENT Surgeons (STENTS), organized an ENT Medical camp at the YMCA Youth Center in Vettinad on 3rd March 2024. The inauguration of the Medical Camp was conducted by Mrs. Beena Jayan, President of Vembayam Grama Panchayath. Vice President Bency V Thomas presided the meeting. Among the notable attendees were Dr. Salima Rema Windsor, President of AOI Trivandrum,Dr Paul Samuel, President (STENTS), Mrs. Beena Ajith, a Block Panchayath member, and Mrs. Prabha Kumari, Chairman of the Welfare Standing Committee and member of Vembayam Grama Panchayath. The camp saw participation from approximately 140 individuals, providing them with essential medical services and raising awareness about ear, nose, and throat health. . A poster exhibition highlighting the importance of hearing care was also organized.
