The 61st Swadeshi Festival was organized under the joint auspices of YMCA Trivandrum and Gandhi Center for Rural Development and Swadeshi .Gandhian and Chairman of the Kerala Gandhi Memorial Fund, Dr. N Radhakrishnan inaugurated the Swadeshi Mela which lasted for 32 days. Over 300 products ranging from various types of indigenous products, cereals, lifestyle medicines, natural products, soaps, disinfectants etc were on display and sale.
